NEW: Link to 2016-2017 CLASS LISTS (Requires OEN)

Dear Families of Sam Sherratt Public School,

We are in the midst of getting things set up here at the school for all to arrive on Wednesday September 7th for the first day of school.  Although it sure seems the summer flew by, it will be good to see all the students hustling back and forth in the hallways again.

We suppose some students might be curious as to whose class they are in this year.  Class lists are posted on this website (see link above) as well as the front doors of the school. To access information on this site, you will need the student’s OEN number which can be found on the top corner of their report card.

Many of our teachers are back in their classrooms and busy preparing for your child’s first day of school on Wednesday, September 7th .  Please note that we have a PA Day scheduled on the Tuesday after Labour DayMonday (September 6th) and that our first day of classes for our Grade 1-8 students is in fact on Wednesday, September 7th.  Our warning bell rings at 8:45am, teachers will be out by 8:40 on the first day to gather their students.  When you arrive, just look for teachers holding up a sign with your child’s grade number on it and make your way to this area.  Once there, teachers will be calling out names to form their classroom line ups.

Regarding bus numbers and route times, please visit www.haltonbus.ca.  To access information on this site, you will also need the student’s OEN number.

To facilitate the safety of your child with specific medical needs (e.g., anaphylaxis, asthma, diabetes), we ask that you contact our school office and set up a meeting with our vice principal Colleen Golightly. Please ensure all medical information and documents are received by the school before the start of the new year.

Enjoy the remainder of this summer and we do look forward to an exciting new year at Sam Sherratt Public School!

Thank you,

Robert Iannuzzi
