Gator Bites: Week of November 14th

posted Nov 14, 2016, 7:04 AM by David Willoughby ‎[Staff]‎

Good Evening Sherratt Families!

**Please be sure to read to the bottom of each Gator Bites to find important attachments!!

Today we had a wonderful Remembrance Day Assembly to reflect and remember the Canadians who have fought and continue to champion for our freedoms. We are very blessed to live in a country that protects and celebrates our differences. Our students were very respectful during our assembly, clearly understanding the importance of today. The presentations were thoughtful and helped us understand the importance of today. Lest we forget.

End of Day Routines: A reminder to families that if you are picking up your child from school you may pick them up from the blacktop. Please do not come to the front of the school at dismissal to pick up your child as this is where our 350 bused students exit at the end of the day. Our front parking lot is closed to car traffic from 3:00-3:45 each day to allow for our buses to load. Thank you for your support in helping us keep our students safe!

Conferences: Teachers are busy finalizing Progress Reports and setting up Student Led Conferences. A reminder that your child is to attend the Student Led Conference with you as we are discussing their academic goals. Student Led conferences will take place the Week of Nov 21-25. If you have not arranged your Student Led Conference yet, please be sure to contact your child's teacher to make these arrangements.

School Photos: A reminder that Tuesday is photo retake day. Please be sure your child brings back the photo proof sheets to indicate whether you are getting retakes or ordering.
