Peacekeeper / Peace Buddies Training - On Wednesday we had 48 students in grades 5 & 6 sign up to be a leader in the school for the rest of the year. These leaders completed activities, discussions and role played different situations on how to solve conflicts, using a program called Kelso's Choices. Peace Keepers will be outside everyday both breaks ready to help students in Kindergarten to grade 5 with their small problems.  Big problems will be directed to the teacher on duty. We thank everyone who signed up for this volunteer leadership opportunity and Mr. Charrey for organizing and supervising the program throughout the year.

Grade 7 Trip to the Career Centre: Our grade 7 students enjoyed a field trip this week to the career centre, where they explored pathways for learning and career options. Thank you for organizing Ms. Robb.

Multicultural Fair - Unfortunately due to lack of responses and interest from the community for involvement in the Multicultural Fair,  we have decided to postpone it until spring. We are hoping that we will have a greater interest in the Spring so we can go ahead with this event!
