Gator Bites: Week of March 6th

posted Mar 4, 2017, 12:28 PM by David Willoughby

Good Evening Sherratt Families!

**Please be sure to read to the bottom of each Gator Bites to find important attachments!!

This week marks the official beginning of Term 2! Families should have received your child's first term report card this week. If you did not receive a report card, please inquire with your child's teacher. A reminder to please send in the report card envelope along with the bottom portion of the second page of the report cards with your child's goals and your plan to support and guide them for the remainder of this year. If you are interested in discussing your child's progress please contact the teacher to make arrangements to discuss.

Boundary Review is Complete

On Wednesday, the HDSB trustees voted to approve Scenario 12B for the new Milton Elementary Boundaries. This will mean that we will be losing many of our JK-Grade 5 friends and community members as they move to Martin Street in September 2017. Our Grade 6-7 students will continue to attend Sam Sherratt until they graduate into secondary school.

This is going to be a time of change for our community. We will work together to support one another for a smooth and positive transition.

Scooters, Bicycles and boards...oh my!

As the weather warms up, please have a conversation with your child around etiquette and safety when 'rolling' to school. All students are expected to get off their 'wheels' and walk once they are on school property.

Have a wonderful weekend!

In Partnership,

Robert Iannuzzi

Colleen Golightly

and the Staff of Sam Sherratt
