Gator Bites: Week of February 20th

posted Feb 21, 2017, 12:00 PM by David Willoughby ‎[Staff]‎

Good Evening Gator Families!

We hope you all have great things planned for this Family Day Weekend. The weather is looking wonderful for some outdoor hikes and winter fun!

Boundary Review

This past Wednesday, the HDSB put forth a recommendation to move forward with Scenario 12B for the Milton Elementary Boundary Change. For more information, please visit the HDSB website to see how you may be affected by this change. If you need any clarification, or questions answered, Dr Iannuzzi and Mrs Golightly are available to help you understand these changes.

PINK Shirt Day is February 22nd!

National PINK day is February 22nd. We hope to see all of our students (and parents!!) dressed in PINK to Stand Up, Stand Together, to Stamp out Bullying!

Dressing for the Weather

As the weather continues to warm up (and cool down!), this is a reminder to send your children to school with layers and accessories to ensure students stay warm and dry when outside for breaks. Snow pants, Gloves, Hats and scarves should be worn (or brought to school) each day. An extra pair of pants in the bottom of the backpack can really help our students after a recess filled with snow play, and soccer games!  We have a full Lost and Found bin that will be put out for reclaiming in the next week.

Have a wonderful weekend!

In Partnership,

Robert Iannuzzi

Colleen Golightly

and the Staff of Sam Sherratt

Please ensure any remaining payments for pizza be made on Cashless by Tuesday Feb. 22nd. .
